First, DO NOT submerge in HOT water. I know its tempting, but that can cause bacteria to grow. Instead give it a cold water bath by filling your kitchen sink with cold water. Leave the original wrapper on and submerge the turkey breast-side down. Change the water every half hour of so. This will take a long time, about 30 minutes per pound for a fully frozen turkey. If yours is partially thawed, you’re lucky, it will take less time. If you run out of time, it’s safe to cook a partially frozen turkey, it will just add several hours to your cooking time. Use an oven-safe meat thermometer to be sure your turkey is done at 165°. Enjoy your feast!
