Tip of the Day: Burned Gravy? Sugar Saves the Day!
Let’s hope this doesn’t happen on Thanksgiving, but if it does, and the gravy is burned, you can save it with this quick fix: transfer the gravy to a different pan, then mix in 1/2 teaspoon of sugar one at a time until the bitter taste is gone. The sweetness of the sugar cancels out the sharp taste of the burnt buts. No one will notice. Please pass the gravy!
