Every once in awhile, while microwaving popcorn it burns. Worse than not having your snack, is that lingering smell in the microwave and  your home! First of all, wipe down the inside of your microwave with warm water and dish soap. This will help remove the odor. Then leave a small dish of unused coffee grounds near the microwave. This will help rid any lingering smell.
