Tip of the Day: Bitter Coffee? Add Egg Shells

If you tried a new blend of coffee but its too bitter for your taste, add some clean, crushed eggshells to the grounds before you start brewing your pot of joe. The alkaline shells will neutralize some of the acidity in the coffee without compromising the flavor. It should mellow out for a great tasting cup of coffee.
