Tip of the Day: When To Water House Plants

If you have trouble remembering when to water your house plants, here’s an easy trick: stick a pencil, eraser side down, into the soil. When you withdraw it, if soil has stuck to the eraser, the plant is still moist, if not, get out that watering can! This way you won’t over or under water your indoor foliage.
