On these last few cold days of Winter, if you find an icy windshield is slowing down your commute, have a spray bottle handy. Fill it with 1 part of room temperature water and 2 parts of rubbing alcohol. Spritz the glass and turn your wipers on. The rubbing alcohol will quickly lower the freezing point of the ice. It will melt quickly and you’ll be on your way in no time.
