Tip of the Day: Prevent Staining on NEW Plastic Containers

You’ve replaced your old, plastic containers because they were stained. Now, you can keep your new set stain-free if you soak the containers in cold water for 5 minutes before you use them for the first time. The cold temperature will make the plastic less porous so it won’t be able to absorb the pigments in the food.
