When the gel manicure you got starts to peel and chip, but you can’t get to your manicurist, you can remove it at home with a few steps. First, buff your nails with an emery board, then, soak 10 cotton balls in nail polish remover. Place one cotton ball on each fingernail and wrap your fingertips with foil. Leave on for 10 minutes, then using the cotton ball rub off the polish. The acetone in the polish remover will have absorbed into the gel making it easier to remove.
