Everything costs one dollar! What could be cheaper? Well, lots of things! Don’t get me wrong, I love Dollar Stores. They’re great for paper products, gift bags, novelties, toys, etc. BUT, there are somethings that are NOT a bargain. You would do better buying cereal at your favorite supermarket or Walmart because if you figure out the price you pay per ounce it will be cheaper there! The same goes for toothpaste, rice, cleaning products, laundry detergent, bar soap, and even table salt! Most spices are a great deal at the Dollar Store! Always check the amount of ounces you will be getting for your dollar. Canned vegetables are another place that your grocery store has the better bargain. Lastly, pain medications, such as aspirin, can cost a huge amount more if you calculate the tablets vs the price. Know what to buy and then you can really save when you shop at the Dollar Store, some, like Dollar Tree, even accept coupons!
