Here’s a trick to minimize your replacing cartridges so they will last longer: in the printer’s menu change your printer’s preference setting to grayscale for any documents that don’t require color. Did you know that even when you print in black and white the printer uses several colors to create the black ink? But when you switch to grayscale the printer will use only the black ink which results in using 50% LESS ink!
