Tip of the Day: No More Hard Brown Sugar

It never fails, you’re to bake when you reach for the brown sugar it’s hard as a rock! Grrr! To prevent this for the next time, add a slice of orange peel to the bag before sealing. The natural oils in this peel will slowly release moisture that will keep the sugar soft and clump-free. It won’t affect the flavor of the sugar either.┬áReplace this rind monthly to ensure the effectiveness.
