Tip of the Day: Wash Denim in Salt to Halt Bleeding

If you’ve ever had your legs turn blue from your new denim pants, try washing the jeans in cold water that has 1/4 cup of salt added to it. You may have to do this a few times, but this will finally set the pigment so it won’t bleed.
