Tip of the Day: Rid Humidifier Odor

During the Winter, humidifiers really earn their keep. However, the constant use can produce an unpleasant odor. To rid this offensive smell, fill the basin with water and add 3 teaspoons of lemon juice then run as usual. Repeat this process every 2 weeks to kill the bacteria that causes these odors.
