When grocery shopping, compare items not ONLY by the sale price, but by the price per pound. For meats, check the cost per serving, this way, the fat and bones won’t enter the equation. Always try to use coupons and generally, the smallest size of the item will be cheaper with the coupon in the long run. (if you have several of the same coupon, buy several small sizes so you can use one coupon on each product. This will bring the cost of the total amount of your product down lower than if you purchased a larger size with only ONE coupon).
