Tip of the Day: Baked Potatoes with Crispy Skins
If your baked potatoes have soggy skins, and this happens to be on your menu for the Thanksgiving feast, you can make these spuds perfectly bakedĀ as well as have perfectly crispy skins. Coat the potatoes in vegetable oil and place directly on the middle oven rack (place an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet underneath on the rack below to collect any drippings). The oil will lock in the moisture making the skins golden and crisp. Yum!
