Tip of the Day: Storm Coming? Safeguard Appliances

If a major storm is projected you can protect your appliances before it strikes. Be sure they are all plugged into surge protectors or else unplug them because electrical power surges can damage TVs, washing machines, and more. It’s a good idea to leave a lamp or light turned on so you’ll know when the power has been restored.
