Tip of the Day: Keep Birdbaths from Freezing

If you enjoy seeing your feathered friends taking a drink from your birdbath, but feel sad when they try to take a drink and the water has a frozen layer on top, try tossing a few clean tennis balls into the bath. These will blow around as the weather cools preventing the ice from forming for at least a few weeks longer.
