While giving yourself a home-manicure you accidentally spill the nail polish on your wooden coffee table! Reach for the sugar bowl! Pour a generous handful over the spill and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, sweep up the mess with a paper towel. The absorbent sugar granules will soak up the liquid polish before it can stain.
