Tip of the Day: Refresh Leather Furniture Naturally
There’s no need to buy pricey leather furniture cleaners when you can make your own for much less. Combine 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/4 cup brewed tea (for light colored leather items skip the tea), and 1/2 cup olive oil in a spray bottle (you can get one at the Dollar Store). Shake well. Lightly spritz the couch, etc (always test in an inconspicuous spot for color-fastness) with the solution and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then wipe dry with a clean cloth. The tea will absorb any odors and create a shine, the olive oil will condition the leather, while the vinegar will remove dirt and grime. Your furniture will look like new.
