Tip of the Day: Keep Kitchen Sinks Clean & Germ-Free
We all think our kitchen sinks are fairly clean due to the fact that water is constantly running through it so no germs can thrive, wrong! Bacteria such as E.coli and salmonella can harbor from raw food causing flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, and infections. To prevent this, wash and disinfect the sides and bottom of your kitchen sink a few times a week. Don’t overlook drains and disposals! At least once a month sanitize. If your kitchen sink strainers are dishwasher safe, run them through the dishwasher once a week.
