If you have a pretty ribbon but it is wrinkled and you don’t feel like hauling the iron and ironing board out, you can flatten it easily by carefully running it over a light bulb that has been turned on for less than 5 minutes and remove quickly. The heat from the bulb will do the trick. Be careful not to let the ribbon stay on the hot bulb or you may cause a fire.
