If you’ve saved inflatable toys for another season I’m sure you’ve noticed they stick to themselves making it hard to pull them apart and worse they rip when you start to blow them up. To prevent this, the next time you store the inflatable balls, tubes, rafts, and other floaties, while the toys are deflated, sprinkle a layer of cornstarch (you can get this in the baking aisle of the grocery store) over the plastic before folding. The cornstarch granules will soak up any moisture and create a thin barrier that keeps the plastic from sticking.
