If you find you are always running around looking for batteries because even the rechargeable ones don’t last long enough, you can prolong their life with a pencil eraser. Rub the ends of the battery with the eraser end of the pencil and blow off any bits they are left on. Then recharge. The rubber removes any built-up dust and grime that tends to cause premature power drain.
