If traveling is in your future and a rental car is the way to go, you can avoid bill-inflating tactics if you you ask the right question when offered an upgrade to a larger car: How much more will it cost? Many times we assume it is FREE when it is not! If toll roads are part of your journey, you are better off buying your own electronic pass since many rental car companies will charge you for both the toll and a  pass fee. Always ask if they will be any other added charges, like if you return the car early, they may charge you a fee! Drive safely and be aware!
