It seems like no matter how hard I try to keep up, my range hood still has hard-to-remove grease on it. Short of replacing the hood, I tried this: first of all, wash the hood with soapy water and dry. Then, using a clean cloth coat the surface of the hood with a layer of car wash. The wax will prevent grease and other particles from sticking to the hood. An extra bonus, the wax adds shine!
