You can safely get rid of weeds with a couple of kitchen staples. Mix a gallon of white vinegar with 1 oz of dish liquid (you can get both of these at the Dollar Store). Pour into a spray bottle and spritz the offending greenery. Avoid those you want to keep as it will harm those as well. The soap helps the vinegar to stick to the weeds so the acids in the vinegar will kill the unwanted eye sores.
