If you notice your lace tablecloth or doily has a tear don’t get the needle and thread. Instead, grab a piece of wax paper and clear nail polish. Place the wax paper under the tear, and brush a layer of the polish over the hole. Let this dry completely and then remove the wax paper carefully. The polish will create a thin polymer coating that is invisible and the rip is sealed!
