Tip of the Day: Prevent a Pot from Boiling Over

You know how they say a watched pot never boils? Well, it must be true because as soon as you take your attention away from a cooking pot it spills over causing a mess! Try sliding a toothpick (laid flat) between the pot and the lid. This small space should create enough room for the steam to escape without causing any messes.
