Tip of the Day: Ripen Avocados for Guacamole
If you’ve ever been ready to make your famous guacamole recipe only to find the avocado is hard as a rock try this: wrap the avocado in aluminum foil. Bake at 200° and check the progress every 10 minutes until it is soft enough for your liking. Then use it in your recipe as usual. The texture of the fruit may not be the same as a naturally ripened avocado, but once it is mixed you won’t notice the difference.
