If you recently canceled a service from an insurer or business that required pre-payments, you may be entitled to a refund for coverage you paid for but didn’t use! If you had an extended warranty on an electronic device you sold, lost,or switched you could get reimbursed for the unused time. Check your contact or call the customer service department to find out. If you experienced an interruption on Internet, phone, cable, or other service that you pay a preset price for, you should first of all, document the interruption by keeping notes and calling the company to tell them how long you were without service. When your service is restored, ask for a refund for the time you were without it. Most companies will oblige to keep you as a loyal customer and it just might already be part of the agreement you have with them. Your time is valuable!
