Tip of the Day: Stale Chips? Just Zap Them!

If you realize the chips you were about to eat or serve are not crispy at all because the bag wasn’t sealed properly, you can fix this in a jiffy! Line a microwave-safe dish with a paper towel(s). Spread the chips in a single layer and microwave for 30 seconds (watch through the glass because some ovens are more powerful than others and it may take less time). This blast of heat will make the moisture in the chips evaporate so you will have crunchy chips instead of stale ones.
