We all know to clean our clothes dryer’s lint trap after each load, right? But over a time, residue from your fabric softener will build up clogging the screen making it take longer to dry your clothes. To fix this, combine 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of liquid dish liquid. Scrub the screen with this using a sponge or soft brush. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let air dry and reinsert. The soap’s alkaline will dissolve any grime and gunk that is interfering with the air flow so your clothes will dry quicker.
