If you have old windows, sometimes new ones too, cold air seeps into your comfort zone. You can stop this frigid air from invading your space with some sheets of bubble wrap. Simply spray water on the insides of the windows in need and immediately  press the bubble wrap (bubble side facing the glass) against the glass. The water will seal the wrap in place and this packing staple will create a barrier against the wind and cold.
