Tip of the Day: Restore Tarnished Silverware Without Chemicals
If you are spiffing up your table settings for the coming holidays and notice your silverware is tarnished, don’t fret, you can easily bring back the shine by combining 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 4 teaspoons of lemon juice into a paste. Dip a clean cotton cloth into this mix and rub over the spots, then rinse off. The chemical reaction between the lemon and baking soda will lift the tarnish off easily and safely.
