Tip of the Day: Fog-Proof Your Windshield with a Potato

You thought spuds were only good for eating, ha! If you have to defrost your windshield every morning due to cold weather conditions, you may want to try this. Cut a raw potato in half and rub the cut side on the inside of your windshield the night before frost is expected. The potato will leave a clear, starchy film on your window that repels condensation.
