Tip of the Day: Watch for Hotel Scams While Traveling

If you are staying at a hotel, etc, and someone claiming to be the front desk calls asking for your credit card and other personal info DO NOT give it over the phone! Instead make an in-person visit to the front desk to confirm. Scammers are phoning hotel rooms to steal your info for potential ID theft.
