Tip of the Day: Control Kitchen Trash Can Messes

If your plastic trash bag leaks or slides down inside your kitchen garbage container, leaving you with a smelly mess, try lining the bottom of the container with a thin layer of kitty litter before you place the bag inside. The absorbent litter will soak up any spilled liquid and neutralize any odors. Replace the litter monthly or as needed.
