Most of us have at least one stainless steel appliance. These look sleek and modern except when they are covered with smudges and fingerprints! To prevent this for weeks at a time, first, clean off with rubbing alcohol or if you have a ton of hand sanitizer that will work too. Then, using a soft cloth, apply a thin layer of car wax to your appliance (always move in the same direction of the grain on the appliance) then wipe away any excess.You will  be left with an invisible shield to keep imprints from building up. No car wax on hand? Mineral oil or a citrus-based furniture polish an do the job too.
