Tip of the Day: Remove Rust from Garden Tools

If you are about to pack up your gardening tools until spring, you can clean any rusty areas with cola! Pour some on a plastic container and submerge your tools (be sure the tarnished areas are covered). Soak for 24 hours then wipe off the rust. The acids in the cola will dissolve the iron oxide in the rust. You’ll be ready for next year’s garden.
