Tip of the Day: Erase Stains on Outdoor Cushions with Peroxide
If the summer entertaining and weather has taken a toll on your outdoor furniture cushions, dab the stains and spots with a clean cloth that has been soaked in 3% hydrogen peroxide. The peroxide releases oxygen to loosen the bond between the fabric fibers and pigments. Your cushions will look as good as new because this works on grass, coffee, chocolate, berry, mustard stains, and others. Always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area first.
