Beside the fact that you spilled your expensive cooking oil all over your tile or linoleum kitchen floor, the clean up is a nightmare! It smears and expands no matter how careful you are! If you cover the mess with cornstarch and let sit for about 10 minutes you should be able to scoop up the mixture with a dustpan to toss. Wipe up any remains with paper towels. If the floor still feels slick and slippery wash with hot water and dish liquid to break down any lingering oil.
