Basting and greasing while cooking and baking can be messy! A real easy way to control this slippery mess is to use a clean, unused paint brush for these purposes. After your butter has been melted, or if you use oil, just dip the brush in and paint your pans or kebobs or chicken breasts (works great for grilling) before cooking. When finished, wash thoroughly so it’s ready for your next recipe.
