Your child’s favorite stuffed buddy goes everywhere. This can make it get dirty, but a bath in the washing machine may not be worth it if it destroys his companion. Instead, place the cuddly toy in a large Ziploc bag filled with 1/2 cup baking soda. Shake thoroughly to coat the toy and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Then, brush off any excess baking soda (if needed, gently vacuum; a dust buster is recommended). The baking soda will have soaked up any oils and odors leaving your child’s bedtime pal fresh.
