If your budding artists got carried away with their artwork and off the paper onto your carpet, don’t worry, you can remove those marker stains with some Coca Cola. Rub a small amount of Coke directly on the spot, then clean with soapy water. The carbonic and phosphoric acids in the soda will de-ink the stain very quickly! (You should spot-test your carpet’s colorfastness by dabbing a Q-tip full of Coke in an inconspicuous area before doing this!).
