Tip of the Day: Burnt Rice? Bread To The Rescue!
Uh oh, you forgot to remove the rice from the heat! You can still salvage your side dish by taking it off the stove and placing 2 slices of bread on top of the rice. Cover the pan and let sit for 10 minutes. The bread will absorb the bitter taste from the hot rice. If there is any burnt rice at the bottom of the pan, just discard it.
