I hope everyone scours the supermarket circulars for the best specials and sales and then matches up with coupons. Well, there is another way to save, look for the clearance or marked-down products! The non-perishable items are usually on a rack or in a shopping cart (not too visible unless you REALLY look!) and the ones that will spoil are with the regular priced goods. In the early (7:00-8:00) evening is when you will find reduced rotisserie chickens, pre-sliced lunch meat, deli salads, soon to “sell by” dairy products. In the early morning the “grocery” products are reduced and will contain anything and everything from food to holiday items to toys to candy. Most of all, remember, if you happen upon these gold mines of inexpensive delights you can use your coupons on them and that sweetens the sale!
