Tip of the Day: Consumer Reports Magazine’s "13 Ways To Save"
The May issue of Consumer Reports Magazine has an excellent article titled “13 Ways to Save” (I have copied it for you to read). I agree with most of the 13 pointers. The only one I’m on the fence with is the “consider organic sometimes”. As they say, “sometimes” is the ONLY time I would buy organic! That would be, of course, when it is on sale cheaper than the “regular” version. My hesitation stems from the fact of how “organic” is “organic”? Is it compromised by being near non-organic foods whether on the farm or in the store? To me the only TRUE organic is something you have grown yourself and supervised otherwise who knows? But, again, that’s just my opinion.
